The Explorer is a very cool book written by Katherine Rundell. It’s about four children who are in a plane crash in the amazon rainforest and have to find their way to Manias. If you like adventure books I would highly recommend it. The author is very good at setting the scene and describing things using show don’t tell. The characters have very unique personalities. If there were all three of those creepy creatures in the water no I would definitely not swim in there, but maybe if there was just one little Caiman and it wasn’t to close Id have a short splash around.
