Hello everybody.

Today at my school it is a very special day it’s Cultural Unity Day. On Cultural Unity Day the students dress up in a costume from their culture and bring a plate of food from their culture. There is a parade in the school hall and then a shared lunch with the food that everybody brings. it is a very fun celebration. I dressed in a dutch costume. how to say how are you in Dutch is  (who is it met yow) how to say good morning in Dutch is ( goodemorphe) I would like to know how to say good afternoon in Dutch. The photo is the wrong way round but the one in the top left corner is the New Zealand flag. The one in the top right corner is the Dutch flag. The one in the bottom left corner is the Scottish flag. And the one in the bottom right corner is the Croatian flag. I drew these flags because I live in New Zealand I’m a Quarter Dutch a Quarter Croatian and half Scottish. what Culture are you from. Kia ora bloggers. My favourite book is the ghost road by chairs cotter it is really fun and interesting. It’s a chapter book about two Irish girl’s that find out mysterious things to do with there history and ancestor’s. There is allot more to it though I just don’t want to spoil it for you in case you want to read it. what’s your favourite book, who’s the author, and why do you like it so much. Blog you latter. Hello bloggers.

The den has been looking at if the world was a village of 100 people. My maths group has been focusing on education. Me and my buddy made a graph of people who can and cannot read.

Of the 88 people  old enough to read 71 can read at least a little but 17 cannot read at all. There are 38 school aged villager’s  (age’s 5-24) only  31 go to school 7 do not. there is one class of 31 children and 1 teacher to teach them. Imagine your that teacher you have to know so many languages just to speak to halve of your class how do you feel. Blog you later. Millie

hello blogger’s.  I don’t really know what my exact dream job is. I have a lot of idea’s about what I want to do when I’m older like an actor or a singer, an artist, a dancer or an explorer. I guess I just want to make a change. but I do have one idea that I really would like to do I want to help and talk to young children and family’s around  the world that are having a hard time. what do you want to do when your older. Kia ora bloggers. The three things I can’t live without are Oxygen because without that we wouldn’t be able to breathe. Nature because it’s what we get food and resources from. Human contact because I would be lonely if I didn’t socialise. What are the three thing you cant live without aside from water, food and shelter. Blog you later. Millie

Kia ora bloggers. I think a teacher should be kind to children but not too soft on them. A teacher should be organised, on time to school, and be able to talk to some children that need help and give them more attention. What do you think makes a good teacher? Blog you later. Millie
