My favourite writing✍

Hello bloggers Millie here

Recently the den ( rooms 21 and 22) have been working on dialog. We did quick writes on animal rescues. Here is mine.

One afternoon about five years ago I joyfully skipped into my big grassy backyard to find my tortoiseshell cat Laya was energetically bouncing around and chasing after something. Something small and black “Oy Laya what are you up to?” I quickly bent down to have a closer look. “laya stop that.” I pushed her away “Mroow” she protested

“Oh” I gasped. The thing that she was foolishly bothering was a small greeny black coloured skink. Laya had violently scratched his tail off but fortunately the little guy was still alive. I gently picked up the little reptile and rushed him inside to tell my dad the peculiar thing that had happened “ dad dad!” I yelled then told him the whole story . My dad said “his tail will grow back but we should put him somewhere safe until it does.” so I put him in a terrarium for a couple of days and let him out when his tail had fully grown back which was surprisingly a very short amount of time.

Do you like it. What writing have you been working on in class. Blog you later.

There is a Boy in the Girls Bathroom Ponder 10🚺🚽

Kia ora everybody Millie here.

the part that surprised me was at the start of the book when Mrs Eble was so mean to Bradley. the part that made me feel strong emotion was when Bradley got mad at Carla because she told him she was leaving. witch part made you feel strong emotion. blog you later.

Bradley’s monster

Hello everyone

My class has been looking at the description of Bradley’s monster from the book there is a boy in the girls bathroom   for the last couple of days.

Each person came up with their own version of that monster this is my version.

Do you think I could change anything. Blog you later. Millie

There’s a boy in the girl’s bathroom Ponder 6

hello everybody

I think that Bradley is worried that he’s a monster because all the children at his school are calling him a monster. there also calling him other mean names such as stupid and ugly. according to Carla a monster stops being a monster when they stop thinking that they are a monster. what do you think. blog you later. Hello bloggers.

I think Bradley felt tricked by Carla because she was acting unlike all the other teachers. she was saying he could do anything he wanted to. the other teachers were really mean to him so it would only make sense for him if Carla was mean as well even though Carla was actually really nice. Bradley is mistrustful of teachers because all the teachers are mistrustful of him. I think he is right to feel this way but he definitely could have been nicer to Carla because he didn’t know for certain if she was going to be like the other teachers and she really wasn’t. what do you think. blog ya later. My Creative Writing

Kia ora everybody.

this week my team the den (rooms 21 and 22) have been working on creative writing. by making one individual short story each day. this is one of the short stories I have made.

A Perfect Dessert

I lifted it up to my Face It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. But before I eat this wonderful site I want to remember this magnificent treat forever and ever. I looked at the exquisite display of fruit. From the finely chopped beautifully ripened rich strawberries to the tangy slice of green kiwi fruit. These fruits would taste great with the shard of love heart shaped waffle and the twisty twirly waffle stick. both sticking out of the drizzled berry sauce sprinkled with peanut sprinkles creamy french vanilla bean ice-cream. All  this loaded onto the most biggest glass ice-cream cup I had ever seen. And don’t forget the beautiful  yellow flower display and a thermometer striking out showing that this ice-cream was still super cold. And I should just stop blabbering on and eat it before it isn’t.

How do you like it, do you want to eat that ice-cream, and why do you say so. See you next time. Millie.
